Web Design

Well a lot of the websites I've made lately are password protected. Which is kind of a portfolio-downer. But here is what I can show you.

Okay, before you give up on my ability to design for web just hear me out on this one please.

This is one of the main websites I take care of, yes, I designed it and yes, it's all black and relatively unattractive. BUT- the complexity here is what's impressive. In my first year working here we did an overhaul of the website (it was a royal mess). They arranged for Cia Romano, the interface guru, to come in and give a workshop in information architecture and usability. Together we reorganized all of the information on the website. The website boasts over 200 individual pages, I know this personally because I hand copied every single one into our Drupal installation this year. I also created the theme to be an exact replica of the website's design. The reason being we needed to make the transition to Drupal VERY smoothly, we succeeded. :)

My Personal Wedding Site

This was a fun one. Complete aesthetic freedom and I got to teach my husband how to edit a Drupal site. :) This site took me maybe four hours of work. Most of the work was done when I finally settled on a design for our invites all I had to do was use the same elements and color scheme. This site has a form to RSVP and I had a username and password on the back of the invitation so I wouldn't get weirdos actually showing up to my wedding. But now I turned the password protection off.

Teaching with Telescopes

Just a quick, static html website. They didn't have much really - no logo, not many pictures and hey, I made the tutorial. But we scraped together a little website for the campaign in the end. And I think it looks nice :)
